THOMAS, Judge.

Pope, McGlamry, Kilpatrick, Morrison & Norwood, P.C. ("the firm"), appeals a judgment of the Etowah Circuit Court ("the trial court") denying its request for an award of attorney fees for its representation of Jason DuBois. We affirm.

Background

In August 2011, DuBois was working on a railroad crew that was traveling from Virginia to Maryland and was forced to jump from a runaway rail vehicle that was traveling more than 60 miles per hour.
