I. INTRODUCTION
The plaintiff Pamela M. Whitzell (‘Whitzell”) brings this action pursuant to section 205(g) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), seeking judicial review of the final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security (the “Commissioner”). Whitzell challenges the decision of the Administrative Law Judge (“hearing officer”) denying her application for Supplemental Security Income.
