On October 6, 2014, plaintiff, Mhammad Abu-Shawish (“Mr. Abu-Shawish”), filed a complaint pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 1495 and 2513, seeking money damages in the amount of $175,000 for alleged unjust conviction and forty-two months of imprisonment in Federal custody.
