MEMORANDUM AND ORDER ON ASSESSMENT OF ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND COSTS

INTRODUCTION

After some success in a jury trial in a contentious civil rights action against the City of Somerville, Massachusetts (the “City”), and eight of its police officers, plaintiffs petition for an assessment of attorneys’ fees and costs under 42 U.S.C. § 1988 (Docket No. 208). Pursuant to a post-trial settlement agreement among the parties, the City has agreed to pay all attorneys’ fees and costs awarded by the Court.
