EDMUNDS, Justice.
In this case, we consider whether the trial court committed error in admitting a medical expert’s opinion that a child had been sexually abused, based on the child’s statements and physical evidence found during an examination. We also consider whether admission of the expert’s additional opinion that she would believe the child and diagnose abuse even in the absence of physical evidence constitutes plain error. Because we conclude that admission of the former was proper and admission of the latter did not rise to the level of plain error, we reverse the Court of Appeals…
