MEMORANDUM
PADOVA, District Judge.
Plaintiff Antonio Giordano, M.D. filed the instant action against Pier Paolo Clau dio, M.D. and Robert Waters, Esq., alleging defamation related to a dispute over authorship credit for an academic article. In response, Claudio and Waters filed a Counterclaim and Third-Party Complaint against Giordano and Valentina Caracciolo, Ph.D, and subsequently filed an Amended Counterclaim and Third-Party Complaint, adding Marcella Macaluso, Ph.D. as a third-party defendant.
