JACKSON, Chief Justice.

J. M. Roberts, A. L. Hood, G. W. Miller, J. C. Nash, J. C. Brannen and J. H. Lip-pard, contestants, instituted this action in the District Court of Lamb County against Homer Hall, the Mayor, Beeman Phillips and J. E. Faust, Commissioners of the City of Littlefield, Texas, the contestees, to litigate the validity of a revenue bond election held in the city on October 14, 1941, to determine whether the city commissioners should issue bonds of the city in the sum of $275,000.
