This is an action in the nature of a mortgage foreclosure, though the relief sought by the plaintiff, Pedersen, is a decree subjecting insurance money collected for loss of the mortgaged property to the payment of the mortgage debt. A trial upon the merits in the superior court for Okanogan county resulted in a decree' awarding to the plaintiff recovery and foreclosure against the defendant, Fisher, substantially as prayed for, from which he has appealed to this court.
