James Underwood (Underwood) appeals his civil commitment for control, care, and treatment as a sexually violent predator. Underwood raises eight points on appeal. The first three points challenge the constitutionality of various aspects of the Sexually Violent Predator Act (Act). Underwood’s fourth point argues that the trial court erred in permitting use of the term “sexually violent predator” during trial.
