*359Adam Derby ("Derby") appeals his commitment as a "sexually violent predator" ("SVP") within the meaning of section 632.480(5)1 of the Sexually Violent Predator Act ("SVP Act").2 Derby raises four points on appeal. His first point alleges that the trial court abused its discretion in allowing expert witnesses to testify about statements made by Derby during his treatment.
