SELYA, District Judge.

In February of 1985, the defendants herein, Frank L. Marrapese, Jr. and John F. Cicilline, were indicted by a grand jury in this district on charges of obstructing justice, 18 U.S.C. § 1503, and conspiring to suborn perjury and obstruct justice in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371. They have moved to dismiss the indictment, arguing that the grand jury selection process was flawed, that the composition of the grand jury was unlawful, that the sitting grand jury was subjected to unfair manipulative influences, and that the grand jury’s term had expired at the…
