FLETCHER, Chief Judge:

The appellant was convicted of sale of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) and communication of a threat in violation of Articles 92 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 892 and 934, respectively. He was sentenced to a dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, confinement at hard labor for 3 years, and reduction to the grade of E — 1.
