These actions concern the ownership of four adjacent parcels of land in Sandwich, each of which, at various dates, the town took for the nonpayment of taxes and as to which, in the 1970’s, the Land Court entered decrees foreclosing the record owners’ rights of redemption. The defendants (Quirks) assert that they have acquired title to the parcels by adverse possession.
