MEMORANDUM OPINION
COBB, District Judge.
Before the court is Defendants’ Motion for Summary Judgment [Dkt. # 38], and the court having reviewed the motion and responses on file and having conducted an oral hearing on the matter is of the opinion that the motion be GRANTED. This case arises out of an event that occurred in Lufkin, TX on August 18, 1997. On this date, the plaintiff contends she suffered severe injury caused by a defect in the machine she operated at her employer’s factory.
