POPOVICH, J.:

¶ 1 David Chmiel appeals from the May 22, 2000, order of the Court of Common Pleas of Lackawanna County, which denied his motion to dismiss on double jeopardy grounds. We affirm. 1

¶ 2 Chmiel was charged with stabbing to death three elderly siblings, Angelina, Victor, and James Lunario, while robbing their home in Throop, Lackawanna County, in the early morning hours of September 21, 1983.
