PALMER, J.

A jury found the defendant, Terrell Canady, guilty of one count each of felony murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54c, manslaughter in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-55 (a) (1), and robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (1). The trial court rendered judgment in accordance with the verdict and sentenced the defendant to a total effective sentence of seventy-five years imprisonment.
