The declaration filed in circuit court by the plaintiff in this case alleged the right to recover damages on the ground of wilful and wanton misconduct. During the evening of October 17, 1949, Roland B. Anderson and his wife, Elaine, residents of the village of Sparta, went for a ride in an automobile owned and driven by the husband.
