Appeal by plaintiffs from a judgment of nonsuit in a suit to quiet title to an alleged prior easement of a portion of Hill Street 1 in the county of Los Angeles, and for declaratory relief.

Augustin Machado, at the time of his death in 1865, owned an undivided one-fourth interest in Eancho La Ballona in the county of Los Angeles which he devised half to his wife, Eamona Machado, and half to his 13 children in equal shares.
