After a trial to the court, defendant was fined $500 for the violation of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana under former ORS 475.992(4)(f) (2003), renumbered as ORS 475.864(3) (2005). On appeal, he advances three assignments of error. We address two of defendant’s assignments of error. First, defendant argues that the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress evidence seized pursuant to a search warrant.
