PNL Credit L.P. (“PNL”)2 appeals from a grant of summary judgment in favor of Southwest Pacific Investments, Inc. (“SW Pacific”), R. Gregory Orians and Constance Orians (“the Orians”), and James Ricketts (“Ricketts”).3 PNL challenges the trial court’s ruling that Arizona’s anti-deficiency statute for deeds of trust, Ariz.Rev.Stat.Ann. (“A.R.S.”) section 33-814(G) (Supp.1990), protects SW Pacific from a deficiency judgment.
