REAVLEY, Circuit Judge:
Manuel Villa appeals the district court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of the Secretary of Health and Human Services (“Secretary”), affirming the denial of his application for disability insurance benefits under Title II of the Social Security Act (“Act”). 42 U.S.C. § 405(g). We affirm.
I. Background
Manuel Villa was born on July 18, 1928 and was 58 years old on the date of the alleged onset of his disability. He obtained a fourth grade education in Mexico and cannot read, write, or speak English. From 1940 until 1973, Villa worked as an unskilled laborer on farms…
