OPINION AND ORDER REGULATING INSURANCE OBLIGATIONS
HELLERSTEIN, District Judge.
This Opinion discusses whether the insurers who covered the lessees of Towers One and Two of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 against loss and liability, excluded defense costs from their coverage. I ruled earlier in this lawsuit that New York’s insurance law did not prevent these insurers from asserting the exclusion of defense costs as a defense. See In re September 11th Liab. Ins.
