OPINION

BAKER, Judge.

Appellant-defendant Brownsburg Community School Corporation (Brownsburg) appeals the denial of its motion for judgment on the pleadings in favor of appellee-plaintiff Natare Corporation (Natare). Specifically, the issue certified in this interlocutory appeal is whether a municipal entity such as a school corporation is a "person" as defined by Indiana Code seetion 24-1-2-10, and therefore subject to suit for treble damages and attorney fees under Indiana Code section 24-1-2-7.
