GIERKE, Judge:

A general court-martial composed of officer members convicted appellant, contrary to his pleas, of escape from confinement, encouraging and instigating another to sign *441false official statements, and suborning another to commit perjury, in violation of Articles 95, 107, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 895, 907, and 934, respectively. The approved sentence provided for a bad-conduct discharge and confinement for 12 months.
