OPINION OF THE COURT

MERCK, Senior Judge:

A military judge, sitting as a general court-martial, convicted appellant, in accordance with his pleas, of indecent acts with a child,1 in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 934 [hereinafter UCMJ]. A court-martial panel composed of officer and enlisted members sentenced appellant to a bad-conduct discharge, total forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and reduction to Private El. The convening authority approved only so much of the sentence as provides for a bad-conduct discharge, forfeiture of $737.00 pay per month…
