I briefly review the preceding steps in this controversy:

On June 6th George S. Barger and others filed an involuntary petition in bankruptcy against the Drake Motor & Tire Manufacturing Corporation. On June 12th the Drake Corporation answered the petition, admitting all its material allegations. On June 14th Ralph Cate was appointed receiver of the Drake Corporation. On June 21st R. A. Brown, receiver, and William Hill, J. R. Sea-ton, Brace B. Seaton, and E. B. Brace were allowed to enter their appearance and make defense to the involuntary petition filed by Barger and…
