Parker, J.:

This is a workmen’s compensation case. The claimant recovered in the proceeding before the compensation commissioner and in the district court. The respondent appeals.

So far as it affects appellate review no dispute exists as to the facts. The respondent operates the electric power, light, and water system in Kansas City, Kan., and is subject to the workmen’s compensation laws of the state of Kansas. The claimant, a man 64 years of age, worked for it as a steam locomotive crane operator for almost a quarter of a century and was a trustworthy…
