Petitioner, Smith Chickeries, is a non-resident partnership engaged in business at Mexico, Missouri. It seeks a writ of prohibition to restrain the judge of the Washington Circuit Court from assuming jurisdiction over the person or proceeding further against it in the trial of a certain action pending in said court in which petitioner was made a cross-defendant.
