PETERS, District Judge.

This is a suit on a bill of exchange drawn by Magalhaes & Co., of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on the First National *171Bank of Boston, in favor of the plaintiff, for $43,674.54, dated July 28, 1920, at 15 days’ sight, protested for nonacceptance on August 30th, and for nonpayment on September 30th.
