The plaintiffs, Mr. Wayne Adams, Mr. John Holmes, Mr. Lloyd Brown, and Ms. Oglathia Herbert filed a complaint against the defendant, William J. Henderson, Postmaster General, United States Postal Service alleging discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, et seq. Specifically, the plaintiffs, who are African-American, allege that they were denied opportunities for training and advancement given to similarly-situated white employees.
