Durepos v. Town of Van Buren

Supreme Judicial Court of Maine

1Opinion of the Court

WATHEN, Justice.

Plaintiff Roland Durepos appeals from a judgment entered in favor of the Town of Van Burén in a suit seeking relief for the unlawful termination of his employment. The Superior Court (Aroostook County) ruled in defendant’s favor at the conclusion of a jury-waived trial. On appeal, plaintiff contends that the Superior Court erred in finding that his termination did not violate statutory and constitutional provisions for notice and hearing. We find no error in the judgment of the Superior Court and we deny the appeal.
