On August 19, 1899, the plaintiff, Mary A. Gaffney, filed in the superior court of the state of Washington for King county her garnishment affidavit, in which she alleged, in substance, that the defendants John Megrath and John McGough, and each of them, were indebted to her upon a judgment rendered against them and each of them, in said court, for $861.29, with interest at eight per cent, from April 1, 1894, and costs amounting to $35, and supreme court costs amounting to $41.50, which judgment was wholly unsatisfied; and that the Standard…
