INTRODUCTION
By orders dated August 1, 1997 this Court finally approved the terms of the settlement, between plaintiffs and the Polaris Defen dants, 1 which is embodied in the Stipulation of Settlement With Polaris Defendants (the “Settlement”), dated April 22, 1997. The Settlement provided, among other things, that the Polaris Defendants would pay $22,-500,000 into a settlement fund for the benefit of the PAIF Subclass (the “Class”).
