We granted leave to appeal to consider whether there was sufficient evidence to support plaintiffs claims of retaliatory discrimination and whether the “continuing violations” doctrine of Sumner v Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co, 427 Mich 505; 398 NW2d 368 (1986), should be preserved, modified, or abrogated in light of the language of the statute of limitations, MCL 600.5805(1).
