In a consolidated trial, 2 , appellant, Ted-die Davenport, was convicted, pursuant to two indictments, of two separate incidents of aggravated assault on a public servant. 3 A jury assessed appellant’s punishment at confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (ID-TDCJ) for 50 years.
