In this action, appellant Summit Court, Inc. (Summit) seeks to recover from respondents damages, in excess of those damages reimbursed by its own property damage fire insurance, it sustained as a result of the Commodore Hotel fire and explosion on February 15, 1978. Following a verdict of the jury assessing damages, appellant’s motion in the Ramsey County District Court for an additur or, alternatively, for a new trial was denied.
