HOMER FERGUSON, Judge:

A general court-martial convicted the accused of a violation of a lawful general regulation (Charge I), wrongful possession of an Armed Forces Liberty Pass with intent to deceive (Charge II), and escape from lawful confinement (Charge III), in violation of Articles 92, 134, and 95, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 892, 934, and 895, respectively. He was sentenced to be dishonorably discharged from the service, to forfeit all pay and allowances, and to be confined at hard labor for one year. The convening authority approved the sentence but…
