T1 This appeal arises from proceedings that followed the trial court's entry of judgment on a jury verdict in favor of defendants. The judgment was filed May 27, 2003. Plaintiffs first filed a motion for new trial on May 28, 2008, alleging, among other things, misconduct by a juror in doing internet research about matters related to the case. After questioning the juror about her internet research, the trial court denied this motion on August 22, 2008.
