These proceedings were instituted for the State by the highway commissioner to secure condemnation of certain lands in Oakland county, under Act No. 340, Pub. Acts 1927 (1 Comp. Laws 1929', § 4454 et seq.). They are incident to the widening of Woodward avenue and the relocation of the right of way of the Grand Trunk railroad, a matter which has previously been before this court.
