These appeals concern the conservator-ship of a child, Adam, who has been embroiled in custody litigation for most of his life.1 This is Adam’s second trip to the court of appeals.

The first appellate proceeding arose from the termination of Adam’s parents’ parental rights. Both his mother, T.H. (“Mother”), and his father, L.M. (“Father”), appealed the termination to this court.
