Plaintiff Robert Burrell is a victim of identity theft. The individual who committed that theft used Mr. Burrell’s Discover credit card account, which was administered by Defendant DFS Services, LLC (“Discover”), to purchase almost $10,000 in goods and services. The thief also used Mr. Burrell’s identity to incur charges of approximately $1,000 from Defendant Helio, LLC (“Helio”), a wireless telephone company.
