Accused was tried by summary court-martial for the offense of knowingly, willfully and without proper authorization having in his possession five sy-rettes of morphine tartrate. The trial was held prior to the effective date of the new Code, and accused was found guilty and sentenced to forfeit $50.00 per month for six months; to perform extra police duties for three months, and to be discharged from the United States Naval Service with a bad-conduct discharge.
