Petitioner seeks review of a decision of the Workmen’s Compensation Appeals Board (hereinafter referred to as “the board”), after reconsideration, in which the board made awards for new and further permanent disability.

The applicant, while employed by Macy’s Department Store as a laborer or warehouseman, sustained a compensable injury to his low back on March 1, 1966, while lifting heavy bedding and furniture at the employer’s warehouse in San Bruno, California.
