This is a proceeding to review an award made by the Industrial Accident Commission upon a claim of permanent disability, following an award for temporary disability. On August 7,1942, Joseph Smith sustained an injury while in the employ of Broadway-Locust Company, Incorporated. On October 29, 1942, he filed an application for compensation with the Industrial Accident Commission; and on December 18,1942, the commission made findings of temporary total disability from August 7, 1942 to October 25, 1942, resulting from a hernia and phlebitis of the left leg.
