In April, 1915, Sam Wood brought suit in district court of Carter county against his wife, Etta Wood, now Freeman, for divorce. The wife filed cross-petition, and the trial resulted in judgment on cross-petition granting the wife divorce from her said husband, and the wife was awarded part of lot 7, in block 375, in the city of Ardmore, and also the care and custody of the minor child of the marriage; the other property in controversy being given to the husband, Sam Wood.
