Trespass qu. cl., against S. J. Colcord, for crossing the plaintiff’s field. The defendant, in a brief statement, pleaded that the plaintiff obstructed the defendant’s private way of prescription on^ the plaintiff’s land, and made it impassable, and the defendant, being thereby compelled to deviate from that way, went across the plaintiff’s land at another reasonable and proper place, to avoid the obstruction.
