The defendants, Conrad Tarte, Commercial Investments International, Inc. (Commercial Investments), and Great Western Bank, appeal from the judgment of strict foreclosure of a mechanic’s lien in favor of the plaintiff, F. B. Mattson Company, Inc. (Mattson).1 The defendants claim that the trial court improperly rendered judgment in favor of Mattson in violation of General Statutes § 49-34.2 We agree and reverse the judgment of the trial court.
