RAY, Justice.

Midway Protective League, appellant (plaintiff), brought suit against appellee (defendant), the City of Dallas, attacking the validity of a zoning ordinance on the ground that the City did not comply with the necessary jurisdictional prerequisites and on the ground of spot zoning. Appel-lees, Jack W. Lively and Joan Stansbury, owners of the land being rezoned, intervened. The court tried the case without the aid of a jury and entered judgment for the City of Dallas, Jack W.
