Petitioner, appearing pro se, is a resident of Joplin, Missouri, within the territorial jurisdiction of this Court. On April 4, 1956, he filed an application with the Social Security Division of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, to establish a period of disability under section 216(i) of the Social Security Act (section 416 (i), Title 42 U.S.C.A.).
