The plaintiff, Gina Resurrección, appeals from the judgment of the trial court rendered following its granting of the motion to open the judgment filed by the defendant, Normandy Heights, LLC, after the defendant had been defaulted for failure to appear. The plaintiff claims that the court abused its discretion in granting the motion to open because the defendant did not demonstrate that it had a good defense or that it was prevented from filing the required appearance because of accident, mistake or other reasonable cause.
